Modern Rock With Weight.
Three Wheel Horse is a guitar-driven Midwest rock band forged in the 1990s and rebuilt with purpose in Indianapolis.
Founded by brothers Jeff Brown (rhythm guitar, lead vocals) and Jason Brown (lead guitar, vocals), the band first emerged from the West Michigan original music scene, earning regional momentum and attracting interest from Sony Music in the late ’90s. As life and careers accelerated, the opportunity passed — but the music never stopped.
Re-formed in 2022, Three Wheel Horse returned with sharpened focus and renewed intensity. Now joined by bassist James Redlin and drummer Mike Stocksick, the band writes, records, and independently releases original music across all major streaming platforms while building a growing regional audience through disciplined promotion and a commitment to live performance. Often compared to Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Tool, and Pearl Jam, their sound blends heavy, layered guitars with dynamic shifts and melodic depth. Lyrically, Three Wheel Horse writes with intention. The band prioritizes substance over surface — crafting songs built on meaning, emotional tension, and lived experience rather than disposable hooks.
Heavy. Intentional. Uncompromising.
